Dashboard not matching Cash Drawer close report
The Daily Sales Report does not include Tips and Gift cards. Sales Report shows the income that should be recognized. Tips and Gift Card Deposits are a Liability, not income. The Cash Drawer shows how many dollars should be in your bank at the end of the day. So, all $$ counted here are just looking at cash flow.
The best comparison report used should be the Master Sales Report from Standard Reports to the Dashboard. Your Cash drawer close should add up if you add up all liabilities and income in the report.
