OrderPort's cloud printing system is built off of Star's CloudPRNT service. It is particularly useful when multiple devices are sending print requests to a printer at once. It avoids conflicts by utilizing a queue system.

Cloud Print Setup
The setup process involves configuring some printer settings, identifying the IP address for the printer, and identifying the MAC address. Once these steps are complete, you must send a request to helpdesk@orderport.net to go live with the cloud print system.
1. Plug in the printer.
It must be plugged in to power, and it needs an ethernet connection to your router.
2. Get the IP.
- Turn off the printer.
- Hold down the feed button, then turn the printer on.
- Wait for the printout, then release the feed button.
- Save the IP for later. You can keep the printout for this or write it on a digital note.
3. Open the printer's utility page.
- You must be on a device which is connected to the same network as the printer. In a web browser, enter in the IP address to open the printer's utility page.
- Sign in. The default username is "root". The default password is "public".
- Save the MAC Address for later. You can take a screenshot or write it on a digital note.
4. Go to the CloudPRNT tab and configure these settings:
- Enable CloudPRNT.
- Add the following to the Server URL: http://cloudprint.orderport.net/cloudprnt.php
- Set the polling time to 2.
Make sure to click submit after making these changes.
5. Send an email to helpdesk@orderport.net, including the IP Address, MAC Address, and a confirmation that the steps above were followed.
6. Wait to hear back from OrderPort support that the printer is set up for Cloud Print.
7. Set up the printer in OrderPort Admin -> Services -> Point of Sale -> Printers & Cash Drawers.
