Signing Up a Club Member
From the app select the club tab. This will take you to a page where you can enter an email. If that email is attached to an existing account, it will pull up that customer so you can add a new club membership to their account. If they are not, it will ask you to enter all of their account information and select their wine club.
After you have established who the customer is it will ask you to select what club they would like to be a part of. Then you will need to select Shipping Options, their preferred payment method, and add any notes you would like. If you are shipping an order or using a credit card it will request address information from the customer. Select Join Club once completed.
Adding a Gift Membership
If you have a customer who would like to gift a membership to another client from the app select the club tab. This will take you to a page where you can enter an email. You will enter in the email of the person who is gifting the membership. If that email is attached to an existing account, it will pull up that customer so you can add a new club membership to their account. If they are not, it will ask you to enter all of their account information and select their wine club.
After you have established who the customer is it will ask you to select what club they would like to gift. If that club is set up to have Gift memberships you will see an orange gift button when you go to select the club. Select how long they would like to gift the membership and provide a gift message. This message will be sent to the person they are gifting in an email.
You will get a pop-up asking if the receiver is a current customer or not. If they are it will ask you to search for them if not it will ask you to input all information. You will need to select Shipping Options. Select Join Club once completed.
Pay at Pick-up Wine Club Orders
If you allow your customers to use the Pay at Pick up option for their Wine Club release you can take payment on the Point of Sale. After Signing in please navigate to the Account tab. Search for the customer and click on the Order History tab. You can Identify the order With the Status of Active and a Green Take Payment button. After selecting Take Payment it will take you to the checkout screen where you can select any of the available payment methods. Once Payment is completed there will be a pop-up asking you if you want to Release the order. It will then request that the customer sign for the order.
Re-Authorizing Wine Club Orders
If you allow your customers to pick up their wine club release the order declines you can reauthorize it on the Point of Sale. After Signing in please navigate to the Account tab. Search for the customer and click on the Order History tab. You can Identify the order With the Status of Declined and a Green Authorize button. Once you select Authorize it will ask you to select the card you wish to charge. From here you can add a new card or Update an existing card on file. If the Payment goes through the Authorize button will turn blue and request that you now release the order.
Releasing Wine Club Pick-Up Orders
If your wine club allows customers to pick up their releases, this can be processed from the Point of Sale. Login to the Point of Sale to begin. These Steps are the same across all OrderPort Apps. Go to the account tab, and search for the customer. Tap Order History. Identify the order, then press the Blue Release button. The customer will need to input their signature. Please Note: This should be done after you have captured funds in the fulfillment module.
