There are three sections to OrderPort reports, which is in the Operations category. The first of these sections is the reports dashboard, where you can view a visualized overview of your business' most important metrics.

User Interface Upgrade

In 2025, OrderPort released an upgrade to Reports with a modernized interface and a more intuitive dashboard. If your Reports module appears different than the screenshots in this document, you are using the old user interface. The content in the module is identical, so you may still use this document, but you should move to the new interface for the best experience. If you are not satisfied with it, you can always switch back.

Location

To the left of all the dashboard tabs, there is a dropdown for you to select the location for the reporting. By default, this is set to combine all location statistics, but you can change this to narrow a specific tasting room or restaurant location.

Settings

The Settings button to the right of the tabs allows you to personalize the dashboard.

The Filter dropdown allows you to configure what sales are considered for reporting statistics.

The filtering options are:

  1. DTC Wine Sales Only (Only consider direct-to-consumer wine sales),
  2. DTC All Products (Consider all direct-to-consumer sales, including non-wine products, such as merch),
  3. Wholesale + Distributer (Consider only wholesale and distributor sales),
  4. ALL Sales.

The other section on the page is for the Dashboard colors. You can see a preview of what it will look like to the right of the color picker.

If any changes are made, make sure to save using the Save button at the top right of the settings.

Overview Tab

The Overview tab of the Reports dashboard gives year-based statistics and visualizations for key metrics to your business.

The Snapshot of Performance section allows you to change the reported year for the overview.

Under the Sales Performance section, you can see sales displayed on a pie chart, categorized by location, customer class, and product type. You may click on a section of the graph to view more detailed statistics about the location/customer/product. Under the Sales by Product screen, Days to Zero Inventory is calculated by considering your inventory and average sales per day.

The Sales by Month section displays sales for the current year compared to the previous year. You can click on a specific point on the timeline, which will bring you to the Monthly view of the dashboard. You can view more information about the Monthly tab below.

The Sales by Location Performance and Sales by Customer Performance displays the same information as the Sales Performance section, but with more detailed numbers.

The Wine Club Memberships section displays club statistics.

Region Comparison Tab

The Region Comparison tab allows you to compare your business metrics to the regional averages. The tab is available for all clients who decide to opt in. Opting into the Region Comparison means you consent to your business metrics being anonymously used in regional average statistics.

The regional average statistics you see here are only considering wineries in your region who have also opted in.

If you would like to opt in to the Regional Comparison, please contact helpdesk@orderport.net

If you scroll down, you will see the Sales by Day section, which displays sales information broken down by day. You can click on a specific point on the timeline, which will bring you to the Daily view of the dashboard. You can view more information about the Daily tab below.

The Service tab will appear if you utilize table maps on the Point of Sale.

For users of the older Reports module, the tab is named "Restaurant" and appears to the right of the My Reports section. It is only available for Restaurant users for users of old Reports.

Please note that there is a specialized location dropdown for the Serice tab specifically.

There are four tabs in the Services section. The first tab is the Product Mix tab, where you can view product statistics for your tasting room.

The second tab is the Associates tab, where you can see statistics based on customers.

The third tab is the Sales Snapshot tab, showing you a quick overview of general sales numbers.

The last tab is the Table Stats tab, where you can view table turn times and guest counts.
