Notifications Definitions
What is each notification used for?
There are 48 total notifications. Notifications cannot be added or removed. Please see the list below for more information.
Abandoned Cart Notification: Sent to customers who close the leave the webstore with something left in their cart after a few hours. Needs to be turned on in the Account module under company info.
Back Order Alert: Sent to winery employees who are BCC on the notification when an Order status is set to Back Ordered. This will not be sent if no one is BCC.
Case Club Renewal Reminder Notification: Sent to customers whose case club membership will expire soon.
Case Club Thank You Renewal Reminder: Sent to customers whose case club membership has been renewed.
Check Alert: Sent to winery employees who are BCC on the notification when an Order status is paid with a check. This will not be sent if no one is BCC.
Credit Refund Recite: Sent to customers when they are given a refund from the point of sale and request to have their receipt emailed to them.
Daily Report: Sent to winery employees who are BCC on the notification every morning with the daily sales report attached. You can also BCC people in the reports module. This will not be sent if no one is BCC.
Delivered: Sent to winery employees who are BCC on the notification when a campaign is delivered. You can also BCC people in the reports module. This will not be sent if no one is BCC.
Edit Cart Item Notification: Sent to winery employees who are BCC on the notification when a clerk gives a custom price to a customer when building a point-of-sale order. This will not be sent if no one is BCC.
Forgot Password: Sent to customers when they use the forgot password button on the webstore or the login screen of the Point of Sale.
Forgot Pin: Sent to users when they use the forgot pin button on the Point of Sale.
Gift Card Details: Sent to customers who purchase electronic gift cards. Contains a gift card number and pin.
Inventory Alert: Sent to the winery staff whenever the inventory for a given SKU drops below the threshold set in the catalog manager.
Join Mailing List Confirmation: Sent to customers when they subscribe to the newsletter.
Link Clicked in email: Sent to winery employees who are BCC on the notification when a link from a campaign is clicked by a customer. This will not be sent if no one is BCC.
Miscellaneous: Sent to winery employees who are BCC on the notification when an Order status is paid with a check. This will not be sent if no one is BCC.
New Customer Account: Sent to customers when an account has been created for them in OrderPort.
Opened: Sent to winery employees who are BCC on the notification when a campaign email was opened by a customer. This will not be sent if no one is BCC.
Partial Payment Receipt: Sent to customers when a split payment was processed at the point of sale and the customer requested an email receipt.
Payment Declined On Wine Club: Sent to the customer when their credit card is declined while building a wine club.
Pending Payment Received: Sent to the customer when we have received payment for a pending Order.
PO Alert: Sent to winery employees who are BCC on the notification when a Purchas Order is placed. This will not be sent if no one is BCC.
Quick Login Code: Sent to the customer when they request a quick login code through the webstore after clicking "Forgot Password". This is also known as a onetime password (OTP).
Released Pickup Order Email: Sent to the customer when they pick up their order in the tasting room.
Reservation Cancelation: Sent to customers if their reservation was canceled.
Reservation Confirmation: Sent to customers when their reservation was completed on the webstore.
Reservation Thank You For Visit: Sent to customers when their reservation order was released.
Shipped Order Email: Sent to customers when their shipping order was released.
Thank You for App Purchase: Sent to customers when their order was completed at the point of sale and they requested an email receipt. (Sent from POS)
Thank You for Gift Order Email: Sent to Gift Recipient when their gift order was completed.
Thank You for Order Email: Sent to customers when an Order was placed for them in OrderPort. (Sent from Admin and Webstore for shipping orders)
Thank You for Pick Up Order: Sent to customers when their order was placed for Pickup.(Sent from Admin and Webstore for Pickup orders)
Thank You for Wine Club Join: Sent to customers when they join a wine club.
Thank You for Your Gift Card Deposit: Sent to customers when they purchase or load money on a gift card.
Unsubscribe: Sent to winery employees who are BCC on the notification when a customer unsubscribes from a campaign. This will not be sent if no one is BCC.
Update Account: Sent to winery employees who are BCC on the notification when a customer account is updated. This will not be sent if no one is BCC.
Wine Club Cancellation Request: Sent to customers and the customer service email when a club member submits a membership cancellation request.
Wine Club Registration is on Waiting list: Sent to customers when they are put on the waiting list for the wine club.
Wine Club Subscription Deposit Declined: Sent to subscription wine club members if their subscription payment is declined.
Wine Club Subscription Deposit Successful Sent to subscription wine club members if their subscription payment was charged.
Work Order Canceled: Sent to winery employees who are BCC on the notification when a work order is canceled. This will not be sent if no one is BCC.
Work Order Canceled: Sent to winery employees who are BCC on the notification when a deposit is made on a work order. This will not be sent if no one is BCC.
Work Order Final Settlement: Sent to winery employees who are BCC on the notification when a work order is completed. This will not be sent if no one is BCC.
Work Order Reservation Thank You: Sent to winery employees who are BCC on the notification when a work order is saved for the first time. This will not be sent if no one is BCC.
Your Wine Club Allocation: Sent to wine club members whenever an order is prepared for them in a wine club release. (Send after clicking finish on step 6 of a wine club release)
