Order Lock Feature 

Order Lock was first introduced on version 4 and below, which was then brought back to the latest version of OrderPort EMV version 4.6.1. Order locking prevents double charges by keeping other clerks from working on the same order once you start payment. 

How it works: 

The moment you start payment on an order, OrderPort will lock the order to prevent another clerk from making any edits or processing payment within the same cart.

To unlock the order, check out and select payment. You will get a pop-up message that lets you know that an active payment has been made to the order and you will be asked if you would like to unlock it. Tap Unlock and enter your pin. The payment window will pop up again.

Make sure to press the "X" on the payment window and you will receive a popup asking you if you want to return to check out. Tap on "Ok" keep the order unlocked. This will allow you to edit the order.

If you are unable to unlock the order that would mean that your user account/pin does not have "Active Order Unlock" turned on which you can change in the Users module in admin.
