How can I see pending orders that have yet to be picked up? 

Admin Side:

Option 1: Checking the orders through Fulfillment. 

Go to the Fulfillment module (Administration > Fulfillment)

On the right side for Carrier Terminals under Pickup Order, click Open and you will see what orders have yet to pick up. You can also release the orders here.

Note: If you release the orders here, it will reduce inventory and a notification will be sent to the customer that their order was Picked up. If you do not want a notification being sent to the customer you would need to go to the Marketing module and suppress the notification PickUpOrderEmail for Admin.

Option 2: If you want to have a report that tells you what which customers that have yet to pick up their order you would go to the Reports Module.

 Wine Club

  • In the Reports Module go to My Reports > Wine Club Reports Tab > Pending Wine Club Pick Ups.
  • Under Interval, select the Date Range of how far back you want to Orders that have yet to be picked up.
  • Interval Mode by default is based on the Order Date (Day the order was created aka processed the Wine Club Release). If you want to know only orders that were fulfilled (captured funds for) you would select Sale Date. 

General Pickup Orders

  • If you want all pick up orders that have yet to be released, you would build a custom report under My Reports.
  • You would select New Report > Sales Master (Template) > Report Settings (Report Parameters) > Filter the settings on what you want to see > Specify the Delivery Method to Pickup > Order Status: In Progress > Order Source: You can leave it as is if you want to see all.
  • Once you finalize the report and want to save it to use for the future (Report Settings > Save Report as Template > Edit name & description > Save as a New Report),
  • Afterwards, you would then View your report.

 

Point of Sale: 

Go to the Accounts tab and View their Order History. On 3.7 it would be below the customer details and on ver 4.0 it would be a button the right that says Order history (There will be a release order button available if order was pushed through Fulfillment and awaiting to get released).

Version 4.0 and up only: When the customer arrives at the Tasting Room and you go to Shop tab and on the bottom right there is a button that says "Pickup: Yes" if it says no then no orders to be picked up. If Pickup says "Yes" you would click on it that will open up the Order History. Click on the "Release" button for that order.
