What is a Member Account
- Member Account is OrderPort’s version of store credit. This credit can be used on the Point of Sale, Webstore, Reservations, and Wine Club depending on what you have it enabled on.
Search
- Once you are in the member account module you can search for a specific customer via their name, or customer account.
-If someone has never had any member account funds, they will not have a deposit account and you will need to make one for them.
View Deposit Account
- Once you have found the deposit account you are looking for select the details button. You will be sent to the Account details page where you can see their current Available and On-hold balance.
-On the transactions tab you can view all transactions that have occurred on this customer's deposit account. This includes adding funds, orders using these funds, subscription club fees, and Work Orders.
-Click on the details of a specific transaction to see more information about it.
-Deposit Funds allows you to manually add funds to someone's member account.
Create Deposit Account
- If you need to create a deposit account select the Create Deposit Account button in the right-hand corner.
-If you refund a member account for someone who doesn’t have one it will automatically create one. These same rules apply to subscription accounts and work orders.
On Hold
- If funds are listed as On Hold that means they are currently reserved for a work order.
