What are Webstore Updates

OrderPort offers a Webstore or E-Commerce page to our clients for online sales. There are multiple versions of the store including a standard store, a Hybrid Store, and an API store. The updates below may vary based on the type of store you have. These Updates include updating text, images, settings, and more.

If you are having trouble making any of these updates please email helpdesk@orderport.net and we can assist you further.

Please note: All wineries will have a website and a webstore. The webstore is provided by OrderPort and the edits to this store will be discussed below. If you need to edit your website you will have to do that through the platform hosting your site. Example (Wix, WordPress)

Catalog Manager Updates

In OrderPort all of your webstore updates involving the products displayed on the store will go through the Catalog Manager. To get to the Catalog Manager navigate to OrderPort Administration > Products > Catalog Manager.

Changing Product Text (Standard)

In the Catalog Manager search for the desired product. Select the product title. Then In the Product Info tab, there are two sections called Overview and Summary Overview. This text will be displayed on the webstore. Please try to not copy and paste text as this can cause formatting issues.

In addition, under the “Wine Specs” tab, you have the option to display information about the vineyards and winemakers by checking the enable box and inserting text. Please try to not copy and paste text as this can cause formatting issues.

Changing Group Text (Standard)

In the Catalog Manager Click on the “Group’s” tab. This gives you the option to add text for your customers when selecting a category of wine. Select to view “Webstore Groups” and navigate to the desired group. “View/Edit” will open the group and allow you to add a Description or summary.

Product and Group Text Formatting Errors

This is usually caused by the winery copying and pasting text into the summary or overview boxes in the catalog manager. To correct this open up the product and highlight the entire text that is causing an issue. Then click on the Blue eraser. Save changes. If you are having difficulty with this or the Format is completely not appearing on the webstore please contact helpdesk@orderport.net.
