OrderPort Data Security Practices

This document contains some important information regarding how OrderPort protects security and data. 


Data Backup

All of our client's business data is backed up by OrderPort daily. Additionally, the data can be downloaded on demand via our Reports module. 


Deleted Data Recovery

We retain any deleted data for 30 days. Clients may choose to save data for longer using our Reports module. This retained data can be used for recovery.


Independent Backups

If a client needs to conduct independent backups outside our system, our API is available. Our API can provide access to all orders, inventory, and customer data. 


Account Security

OrderPort offers multifactor security through time-based one-time passwords (TOTPs, e.g. Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator). 

Additionally, in the event of an account being compromised, passwords can be reset. 


Availability and Recovery Times

We utilize Microsoft Azure's tools to provide a 99.9% uptime on redundant and highly available cloud. Any issues are usually solved in an hour and virtually never impacts clients due to redundancy.
