What are Considered Webstore Requests?

What is considered a Webstore Update and how do I go about sending the request?

Please ensure that you have the files or information that Technical Support needs before submitting the request. For example, they need to update the winery's logo so we would need them to provide the image.

 

Fast Requests (Issue Summaries)

- Updating Logo

- Changing the Discount text in the "Shopping Summary" box.

- Fixing a format issue on the header/footer after making edits through Webstore Designer.

- Removing Gray Background to a transparent or white background in a product for Webstore Groups that are three or more across as the style.

- Adding a drop-down menu for subgroups to the main group.

- Updating a link for the "Shop Now" and "Continue Shopping" buttons on the cart to a different page.

- Removing non-required fields in the Newsletter page.

- Updating a hero banner or group image. 

* Normal Request by Trump Winery and Moretti Wines.

- Fixing links on the web store's sign in/account pages.

- Removing/Adding Search bar on the web store

- Adding a Landing Policy pop-up (Age Gate). An example is Fiesta Winery and Trump Winery.

- Hiding Shipping Options on the Store.

* Note: You need to know which shipping options will be hidden and the states.

- Adding verbiage to the Wine Club registration page.

* Note: Tech cannot remove any steps.

- Bypassing Description and Benefits page to direct a person to the 6 step registration steps.

 

Webstore Redesigns/Updates (JIRA)

Non-support request. Forward this to the person handling webstore requests/updates.

- Changing the web store's layout (header/footer) to a different design or to match their existing site - Send the Webstore Redesign template that can be found as a FAQ.

- Changing background color and modifying the header/footer to a different format.

- Modifying a page in a different format.

- Changing the cart layout to a different text or visual.

- Modifying any page that requires extra coding or hourly work.

- Changing overall fonts.

* If these are paid fonts, they need to provide us what you call a Typekit or access to those fonts.

- Changing Webstore URL

- Modifying the Search bar to be smaller or bigger

- Updating a non-responsive web store to a responsive version (if the webstore can scale down when seen on a mobile device without being stationary)

- Adding an additional store for their account/brand.

 

Non-Requests (Support Requests) - 

Things Support can modify:

- Changing Text to products and groups (Handled through the Catalog Manager).

- Changing verbiage on the Wine Club's Description, Benefits, Terms and Conditions, etc. (Wine Club module).

- Changing Header/Footer Text and Links (Webstore Designer/Site Manager module).

- Removing Terms of Use at Checkout (Not Possible, a requirement for compliance).

- Adding the Cookie Consent Banner (FAQ or through Account Settings).

- Changing Page Size [Allow more products to be seen on a page]. (FAQ)

- Reverting to a previous version of the store. (FAQ)

- Changing Terms of Use text (FAQ)

- Adding a Live Chat feature (FAQ)

- Adding a UserWay ADA Compliance Widget (FAQ)

- Adding Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Google Tag Manager. (FAQ)

- Removing Format Errors on an individual product causing Add to Cart to disappear (FAQ/Catalog manager).

- If a winery uses Enterprise, ensure the groups/wine clubs are selected for the web store they should be under.

- Changing how many items across per row (Catalog Manager)
