Discount Rules

- Discount Rules allow you to make custom products and shipping discounts. To create a new rule, select the green add rule button.

1. The first thing to add is a name. The rule name is customer-facing.

2. You have the option to add a start and end date as well as a minimum or maximum purchase amount for the rule to apply.

3. Next, you need to decide what kind of discount you want, is this a product discount, a shipping discount, or both?

4. If this is a shipping discount you need to choose how you want that discount to apply will it be free shipping, a Flat rate, or a discount on whatever shipping is pulled for that customer?

5. For a product discount choose a % or unit price discount and enter in the desired value.

6. Select how many products you want this to apply to, then navigate to the products tab and select the desired products. (Make sure to check the not included box when using the search feature)

7. Select if this only applies to specific states or customer classes. Leave the fields blank if it applies to everyone.

8. If you want to enter in a Buy more option you can. This text will be displayed to customers when they add a product to their cart on the webstore that is included in the discount.

9. Save, if you save with the Enabled box checked and there is no start date entered the rule will automatically be activated.

Priority

- OrderPort discount rules are decided based on priority if multiple rules apply to the same order. Whichever rule has more priority will be applied.

-Priority 0 is the highest.

-Click and drag a rule to change its priority.

Promo Codes

-Promo codes allow you to apply a certain percentage discount to someone's whole order. For example, military discounts would be a promo code.

Settings

-This tab allows you to decide what happens to wine club members discount who are in multiple clubs. You can either choose to use the default customer class discount or the one with the best discount for each product.

-The default customer class is the wine club they signed up for first.
