Shippers

- This page is broken down into three main sections. Ship from Carriers (LIVEMODE), and important notices.

Ship from this is where you set up your default ship-from location.

Carriers (LIVEMODE) are where you select which shipping carriers you would like to utilize. If you need to turn off Carriers temporarily or permanently uncheck the box.

Important Notices is where you set up a shipping notice that will display for everyone when they choose to ship an order on the webstore. These should be things like weather notices.

Touch & Components

- If you want to charge an additional fee for packing or the number of people involved in shipping the bottle you can do so here.

-If you want to use touch cost you need to enable it in the Handling Fees.

-Components charges are for wine club releases. On step 3 of the wine club you will select a component and an additional fee will be added to the shipping cost.

-Touch Cost can be applied to all orders that are being shipped. You will set up the price per touch here. Then on each product in the catalog manager assigns how many touches each product has.

Handling Fees

- If you would like to set up a default component cost or add transaction fees or other types of fees to your shipping cost you can do so here.

- If you want to use touch Cost you must enable that here.

Custom Zone Shipping Rates

- Custom Zone shipping allows you to use Flat rate shipping. These typically are shipped through 3rd party shippers.

- When setting these up you need first set up zones. Zones are the states with the same shipping rates.

-Shipping Types is where you set up the name of the shipping method and where you want this shipping rate to display.

-After setting up zones and shipping types you can now create rules. Keep in mind if you do not have a rule for a specific product this rule will not apply.

-Shipping methods are decided based on Weight and Volume as well as how many items are applicable.

-Make sure each of your products has a weight for non-wine products and a volume for wine products. For collections, these will be managed by weight, not volume.
