Why isn't my sales tax showing the correct percentage?
Locate the sales tax page for your state and verify your sales tax rate.
If OrderPort does not show this same rate, then check your address in OrderPort (Go to the Inventory module in Admin).
If it still does not match, proceed to the next step.
It looks as if all of the settings in the OrderPort Sales Tax & Licenses module -> State Sales Tax have been changed to "State Tax Only".
This is the reason your sales tax is coming up lower. Please be sure to consult the wineinstitute.org for the Direct Ship rules for each state, before changing the default settings in OrderPort.
