Point of Sale Module (OP5,OP1) Reference Card

Printers & Cash Drawers

-In order for Printers and Cash drawers to work on the POS you must enter them into the Point of Sale Module.

-Select the Green Add Printer Button. Fill out Name, Location, Printer Type, Printer Model, IP Address, and Port (Will always be 9100).

-Select the Green Add Drawer button. Fill out the Name, Location, and which printer (typically one set to Receipt printer type) it will be plugged into.

 

Settings

- This Page is Broken up into two sections. The settings at the top affect all tasting rooms and the Ones at the Bottom broken up by tasting room only affect that location.

- Below are a few explanations of the settings for more details visit the Helpdesk Module.

All Areas

-Enable Physical Inventory count (this feature allows the tasting room to count the physical inventory and compare it to the Inventory Module)

-Contactless Checkout (This feature when enabled will move the tip screen 

Tasting Room Settings

-Ship From (Leave this blank if you want to ship from the tasting room)

-Electronic Signature (Allow your customer to sign for their order on the Tip Screen)

 

Tip Presets

- For OP5 and OP1 on this tab only Quick Tip Presets Apply. This allows you to change the Tip suggested amounts for your customers to both % or $ amount.

 

Free Tastings Tracking

-If The Winery wants to Use the Free Tasting Tracker feature it needs to be enabled here.

-This allows the winery to provide a certain number of free tastings to their members on a monthly or yearly basis. 

- You will need to set up what products are Free Tastings in the Catalog manager and how many tastings are allotted to each customer class in the Customers Module.

 

App Versions

-This tab shows you all app versions of OrderPort your account has been logged into and when it was first and last used. This is a good way to check if you have an out-of-date iPad.

 

Bluetooth Devices

-In order for the POS to recognize a Card Reader it must be entered into the Point-of-Sale module. 

1. Click Add Device and enter the Serial Number.

2. Make sure to Update the Name and model Number to match the Card Reader. This can be determined by the first 4-5 digits of the Serial Number. Ex: CHB306208000123.
